Job Role – Business Manager
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our small team in the capacity of Business Manager. You must have a passion for small business and be ready to jump right into the task at hand. Familiarity with stock control systems, website management and social media platforms will be key.
This role will require you to independently problem solve and manage projects from their infancy right through to launch. It is an exciting, multi-faceted role in a rapidly growing, young company. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail while being able to keep the big picture in mind.
While organisational office skills are important, this position requires excellent customer service skills as well. You’ll be liaising with suppliers, wholesale and retail customers and manufacturing partners. Relationship building will be a key aspect to this role.
Hide & Hammer is based in Stroud, Gloucestershire and specialise in luxurious handmade leather and canvas bags and accessories which are distributed worldwide. A knowledge of pattern cutting, knitting, crochet and craft is advantageous but not essential.

The Business Manager role is a part-time position of approximately 15-20 hours per week initially ramping up to 30-40 hours per week to cover maternity leave from mid-October 2021. You must be able to work weekdays and an occasional weekend. Wages for this role is commensurate with experience and Hide & Hammer are committed to paying a living wage.
